The problem

The problem.

Outreach to radio stations and music press is disjointed, unorganized, and time consuming for indie musicians. Most don't know what to write, who to contact, or whether anything they sent ever landed. You just shoot emails into the ether and hope for the best.

What I built

What I built.

A pitching CRM that coaches musicians through the entire outreach process. Drop in an MP3 and the app analyzes the song — identifying instruments, genre, mood, energy, and similar artists. From there, the app generates a ready-to-send pitch using your song data, artist bio, and genre. Pre-populated contacts across radio and music press are built in, with the ability to add private contacts. AI can enhance any pitch before it goes out. The app then tracks whether each contact clicked your streaming link or replied — giving you real data on how your outreach is actually performing. Venue booking and show invitations are built in too.

The hard part

The hard part.

Song analysis at scale and cost. The current integration (Cyanite AI) is powerful but expensive, and finding a more sustainable approach without sacrificing quality is the active engineering challenge.

Outcome

The result.

Currently in alpha testing with a fully functional core product — pitching, CRM, song analysis, AI enhanced outreach, and engagement tracking all live.
